Things to know about your holiday at the Muirenhof

Know before you go.

Arrival & Payment

PRICES

Our prices are quoted in EUR and do not include local tax: 2.60 EUR per adult per day (in 2021 for those born before 2005, in 2022 for those born before 2006).

Apartments
Final cleaning is already included in our prices! The prices listed in the price lists do not include board. Bed linen, table linen, hand and shower towels, and dish towels are provided in the apartments. In our 1-bedroom apartments, the prices listed are for 2 adults and 1, 2 or 3 children. For additional adults, there is an extra charge of 20 EUR per night.

Rooms & suites 
New as of December 2020: Prices are per room per night including breakfast. In the “Furgler," “Komperdell," “Muiren," and "Schönjoch” family suites there are separate children's rooms and we quote prices per night for the whole family (2 adults and 1-3 children ages 0-13). We will be happy to provide you with a custom offer if you would like to occupy our suites with teenagers, more children than listed, or additional adults.

Short stays

For short stays (stays shorter than 7 nights), we charge a surcharge. We would be happy to provide you with a custom offer for your desired holiday duration.

Room availability

On the day of arrival, the rooms and apartments are ready for occupancy from 2 pm. On the day of departure, we ask you to please vacate the rooms/apartments by 9:30 am.

Deposit

In case of a fixed booking, we ask for a deposit of approx. 20% of the travel price by means of a free bank transfer in EUR (see bank details above). The deposit requirement and bank details are detailed in the booking reservation.

Means of payment

Please settle your bill on the eve of your departure in cash or by ATM/EC card (please note for personal limit). We do not accept credit cards. You are also welcome to pay your invoice in advance via bank transfer.

At the Muiren Lounge, we accept payments in cash and with ATM/EC card. House guests are welcome to sign for food and drink to their room.

Parking

When staying at the Muirenhof, you are allowed to enter the car-free local area of Serfaus. We allocate parking spaces for our guests, either directly in front of the Muirenhof or in our garage at the entrance to the village.

Types of accommodation

At the Muirenhof, we boast 6 generously designed apartments, 4 family suites with separate children's room, one double room and one single room. 

Two elevators facilitate access to all rooms and apartments. 

Muirenhof Gourmet Breakfast

We serve an extensive breakfast in our breakfast parlours from 7:30 to 9:30 am. This is automatically included for guests of our rooms & suites. Apartment guests are more than welcome to book breakfast. Breakfast costs 15 EUR for adults and 9 EUR for children (3-13 years old). Infants up to 2 years old can have breakfast with their parents free of charge. In certain holiday weeks, the apartments are only bookable with breakfast only.

Kitchen equipment

In all apartment kitchens, there is a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, kettle, filter coffee maker and a microwave. Cutlery, pots and pans are available. We also provide you with powder for the dishwasher. Please note that our kitchens are not equipped with an oven. Please do not bring anything that needs to be baked up or warmed in the oven, as we do not have an oven in our breakfast kitchen to do this for you either.

Nespresso enjoyment in our apartments

In all apartments, we have Nespresso Business Machines for connoisseurs. You can find a wide range of Nespresso Tabs directly at our Muirenhof Shop at the reception.

Muirenhof Wellness

For adult guests (14 years and older), the use of our 2017 newly built wellness area is included in the price during the winter season (December to April). Bathrobes are waiting for you in your room or apartment. We kindly ask you to bring your own bathing slippers for use in the wellness area. If required, you can purchase these from us for 5 EUR.

Muirenhof wellness in summer

During the summer season from June to October, the use of the recreation area is included in the price for guests of our suites and rooms (please register). For sauna lovers in our apartments, you can book an attractive wellness package with your stay. We would be happy to send you an offer. 

Pets

Dogs are allowed in our apartments on request. We charge 10 EUR for your pet per day and ask you to bring your own basket or dog blanket. Pets are not allowed in the new rooms and suites. 

Smoking

All of our accommodations, including the Muiren Lounge, are non-smoking areas. We thank you in advance for your understanding. You are welcome to smoke on the balcony and on the sun terrace. 

Slippers

Please bring slippers and use them in the staircase, apartments and rooms. You can conveniently deposit your street shoes in the shoe room.

Our cancellation conditions

Modified cancellation policy due the Covid-19 pandemic!

Current changes. You can cancel at short notice (up to 1 day before arrival) FREE OF CHARGE for the following reasons:

1. Should there be a travel warning for Tyrol in your home country.
2. If the borders of Austria or the borders of your home country are closed.

For all other reasons, we ask you to take out travel cancellation insurance. In this way, you will be covered if you or a member of your family is infected with Covid-19.

Terms of Cancellation. For cancellations up to 12 weeks before the start of the holiday, you will receive your deposit back, minus a EUR 20 handling fee per booking. For cancellations...

  • up to 1 month before the arrival date, 40% of the total arrangement price will be charged;
  • up to 1 week before the day of arrival, 70% of the total arrangement price will be charged;
  • in the last week before the arrival day, 90% of the total arrangement price will be charged.

In case of late arrival or early departure, for whatever reason, 100% of the total arrangement price will be charged.
