Explanation of the service

The process is carried out entirely through digital interfaces, particularly via forms and integrated booking and voucher modules. Users can book rooms and offers online, send inquiries, or order vouchers – regardless of time and location.

In doing so, we ensure that all procedures are clearly structured, transparent, and technically designed to be as accessible as possible for individuals with disabilities. Input and selection processes are largely optimized for ease of use, and important information is presented in a clear and comprehensible manner.

Requirements, status of compatibility and realization

The website meets the requirements of the Barrierefreiheitsgesetz as far as possible and goes beyond the legal requirements in some aspects. The following standards and guidelines, among others, were taken into consideration:

• Harmonized European Standard EN 301 549, Version 3.2.1
• Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Version 2.2, Levels A and AA

We are constantly implementing measures to further improve the accessibility and user experience of our website.

This includes:

• The website was tested for accessibility, then extensively revised and adapted to accessibility standards.
• A menu with accessibility features has been integrated to enable additional accessibility settings.
• Any future development of the website (e.g. new content, functions) will take accessibility into account from the outset.

Fulfillment of the requirements

General

The website is fully usable with assistive technologies. No data is recorded when you use the accessibility features, so your privacy is always protected.

Visual

Font, contrasts, spacing

• The font type, size and shape are selected so that they are easy to read.
• Texts and visual content have an adjustable contrast that can be adjusted in the accessibility menu.
• There is sufficient space between letters, lines and paragraphs.
• If you have difficulties with the font, you can select the system font in the accessibility menu.
• For people with dyslexia, a dyslexia-friendly font is available for selection in the accessibility menu.
• You can also make further settings in your browser or operating system.

Color cues

• Visual information is indicated by at least two visual features and may also be accompanied by text.
  

Alternatives for non-text content

• For content that does not consist of text, there are alternatives that do not require vision - these include alternative texts for images, icons and graphics.

Zoom

• You can zoom in on the website by up to 200% without losing any content. You can use the appropriate settings in your browser and operating system to do this.
  

Keyboard control

• You can control the website completely with an external keyboard. This applies to all areas and functions, and navigation takes place in a logical sequence.

The website is fully usable even with limited mobility. You do not have to reach far or use physical strength to operate all functions.

• You can fully control the website using an external keyboard. This applies to all areas and functions, and navigation follows a logical sequence.

• Elements have sufficiently large target size and are spaced far enough apart.

Display layout

• The website is responsive and works in different display layouts. You can use your device in both landscape and portrait mode - the content, areas and functions automatically adapt to the selected mode.

No complex movements

• No gestures or movements are required (e.g. swiping or dragging).

• If an element has a time limit, this is announced in advance. You can then extend, change or switch off the time limit.

Speech

The website works with limited or no speech. It does not require the ability to speak and there is no corresponding content.

Cognitive (psychological, neurological, neurodivergent)

You can use the website with limited or alternative cognitive, psychological or neurological abilities. This also applies if you identify as “neurodivergent”.

• The website is structured in a logical and predictable way.

Headings and labels

• The website contains meaningful and sensibly structured headings and labels.

• Links are identified by more than one visual feature and are provided with meaningful link text.

Comprehensible texts

• Texts are easy to understand and are written fairly simple.

• Fields for text input support Auto-Fill by the browser or operating system.

• The website is designed to help you avoid errors - for example, through clear labeling and instructions.
• Input is checked and you receive feedback so that any errors can be easily identified and corrected.

Animations

• Only a few simple animations are used on the website. To avoid distraction or discomfort, these can be deactivated in the accessibility settings via the “Reduce Motion” setting.

Flashing

• The website does not contain any light or flash effects that could trigger photosensitive seizures or discomfort in sensitive persons.

Audio output

• Subtitles or transcripts are available for audible content. The volume and, if available, the speed of media content can be adjusted.

Non-Accessible Content

The following content is not fully accessible for the reasons outlined below:

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

• Due to the technical structure of the images in our database, text alternatives are not yet available for a small number of images – these will be corrected and added to on an ongoing basis.

Disproportionate burden

• Due to their design and technical implementation, input fields do not have labels. The “placeholder text” takes over this function and serves users of assistive technologies as information on the purpose of the input.
• Text alternatives for non-text content are currently largely only available in German. We are of the opinion that the retroactive translation of all old texts would represent a disproportionate burden. All newly uploaded images will receive an alt text in German and English.

Content outside the scope of applicable legal provisions

• There are older documents and content available on the website that are not accessible. As these were published before June 28 2025, they are exempt from the Barrierefreiheitsgesetz and no comprehensive change is currently planned for them.
• The website contains documents and content from third-party providers that are neither developed, financed nor controlled by us. No statement can be made regarding the compatibility of this third-party content with the accessibility provisions and it is therefore also exempt from the requirements of the Barrierefreiheitsgesetz.

Accessibility Menu

You can use various accessibility menus on our website that allow you to adapt the appearance and operation of the site to your individual needs. These functions can be found on the right-hand side of the browser window or via the skip link menu. To further optimize your user experience, several functions can be combined at the same time so that you can adjust the settings as required and achieve an even better effect.

• Use system font: Uses the device's default font to fix any issues with the font used on the website and improve readability and consistency of display.

Content highlighting

• Highlight headings: Makes all headings clearly visible to clarify the structure of the page and make it easier to navigate.
• Highlight links: Highlights all links so that they can be recognized quickly and easily to improve navigation.
• Hide images: Hides images to reduce distractions and put the focus on the text content.

Additional features

• Large cursor: Enlarges the mouse pointer to make it more visible and easier to find.
  Reduce movements: Stops animations, autoplay video content and transitions to provide a smoother and less distracting view of content.

Die feratel media technologies AG ist bemüht, das TOSC5-Website-Widget im Einklang mit dem Barrierefreiheitsgesetz (BaFG) idgF zur Umsetzung der Richtlinie (EU) 2019/882 des Europäischen Parlaments und des Rates vom vom 28. Juni 2025 über den barrierefreien Zugang zu Websites und mobilen Anwendungen barrierefrei zugänglich zu machen.

Diese Erklärung zur Barrierefreiheit gilt ausschließlich für das auf dieser Website integrierte TOSC5-Website-Widget (Buchungs- und Informations-Widget).

Stand der Vereinbarkeit mit den Anforderungen

Das TOSC5-Website-Widgets ist wegen der folgenden Unvereinbarkeiten und Ausnahmen teilweise mit Konformitätsstufe AA der "Richtlinien für barrierefreie Webinhalte Web – WCAG 2.1" beziehungsweise mit dem geltenden Europäischen Standard EN 301 549 V 3.2.1 (2021-03) vereinbar.

Nicht barrierefreie Inhalte

Die nachstehend aufgeführten Inhalte sind aus den folgenden Gründen nicht barrierefrei:

a) Unvereinbarkeit mit dem BaFG

• C.9.1.1.1 - Für einige nicht-textliche Inhalte, die Ihnen präsentiert werden, gibt es keine gleichwertige textliche Alternative, die denselben Zweck erfüllt;
• C.9.1.3.1 - In einigen Fällen können Informationen, Strukturen oder Zusammenhänge, die durch die Darstellung von Seiten vermittelt werden, nicht programmatisch bestimmt werden (oder sind nicht über Text verfügbar);
• C.9.1.3.2 - In einigen Fällen, in denen die Reihenfolge, in der der Inhalt präsentiert wird, seine Bedeutung beeinflusst, erfolgt dies nur visuell und nicht strukturell;
• C.9.1.4.3 - Die visuelle Darstellung von Text und Bildern, die Text enthalten, weist nicht immer das erforderliche Mindestkontrastverhältnis auf, abgesehen von den in den Vorschriften vorgesehenen Ausnahmen (z. B. bei Logos);
• C.9.1.4.10 - Inhalte, die keine zweidimensionale Darstellung erfordern (z. B. Datentabellen oder Karten), werden bei einer Größenänderung nicht neu angeordnet;
• C.9.2.1.1 - Einige Features können nicht über die Tastatur (oder eine ähnliche Eingabeschnittstelle) aktiviert werden;
• C.9.2.2.2 - Einige Animationen, blinkende, gleitende oder sich selbst aktualisierende Informationen werden automatisch gestartet, haben eine Dauer von mehr als fünf Sekunden oder werden parallel zu anderen Inhalten präsentiert, es gibt keine Mechanismen, um sie zu stoppen oder zu verbergen;
• C.9.2.4.3 - Auf einigen Webseiten, die sequentiell durchlaufen werden können und auf denen die Navigationsreihenfolge die Bedeutung und Funktionsweise beeinflusst, erhalten einige Objekte, die den Fokus erhalten können, diesen nicht in einer Reihenfolge, der ihre Bedeutung und Funktionsweise bewahrt;
• C.9.2.4.6 - Header und/oder Label verdeutlichen den Inhalt oder die Funktionalität nicht ausreichend;
• C.9.3.3.2 - In einigen Fällen werden keine Label oder Anweisungen bereitgestellt, wenn der Inhalt Eingaben durch den Benutzer erfordert;
• C.9.4.1.2 - In einigen Fällen sind die Komponenten der Benutzeroberfläche (einschließlich: Elemente eines Formulars, Links und skripterzeugte Komponenten...), der Name, die Rolle, der Status, die Eigenschaften und die Werte nicht korrekt oder nicht gesetzt oder der Benutzer und seine assistiven Technologien werden nicht benachrichtigt, wenn sich diese ändern;
• C.9.4.1.3 - In einigen Fällen werden Statusmeldungen dem Benutzer nicht so präsentiert, dass assistive Technologien sie interpretieren können, ohne den Fokus zu verlagern;

b) Unverhältnismäßige Belastung   

• Die im TOSC5-Website-Widget enthaltenen PDF barrierefrei umzusetzen sowie die Erstellung der Erklärung zur Barrierefreiheit in leichter Sprache stellt aktuell eine unverhältnismäßige Belastung dar. Sie bilden daher eine Ausnahme.

c) Die Inhalte fallen nicht in den Anwendungsbereich der anwendbaren Rechtsvorschriften

• Eine Fassung in Gebärdensprache ist nicht zwingend erforderlich.

Erstellung dieser Erklärung zur Barrierefreiheit

Diese Erklärung wurde am 3.6.2025 erstellt.

Die Bewertung der Vereinbarkeit des TOSC5-Website-Widgets mit dem BaFG zur Umsetzung der Anforderungen der Richtlinie (EU) 2019/882 erfolgte in Form einer Überprüfung nach WCAG 2.1 im Konformitätslevel AA im Mai 2025.

Diese Erklärung wurde am 3.6.2025 aktualisiert.

Die Beschwerden werden von dem Sozialministeriumservice dahingehend geprüft, ob sie sich auf Verstöße gegen die Vorgaben des Barrierefreiheitsgesetz, insbesondere Mängel bei der Einhaltung der Barrierefreiheitsanforderungen, durch den Bund oder einer ihm zuordenbaren Einrichtung beziehen.

Sofern die Beschwerde berechtigt ist, hat das Sozialministeriumservice dem Bund oder den betroffenen Rechtsträgern Handlungsempfehlungen auszusprechen und Maßnahmen vorzuschlagen, die der Beseitigung der vorliegenden Mängel dienen.
